The Blues Brothers from the Universal Amphitheater singing Hey Bartender 1978
This must be from their run as opener for
Steve Martin at the Ampitheater. I distinctly recall the filmed version that appeared on the SNL special "The Things We Did Last Summer", and the version from "Briefcase", but this must be an alternate from some other set.
For those who complaining........
Jim and Dan ARE BLUES. Blues is, what this guys stand´s for!!
started as a spoof and I would have loved to see them in a small venue. absolutely great!what music should always be. FUN!!!

By jedijud [Affiliate User] 1219107514 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDon't get me wrong. I love these guys ! But being a blues purist, I've never had much appreciation for television and/or movie actors who think they can play music. Especially Bruce Willis. Just because he's got some fame and alot of money he thinks he can play with great artists like BB King. And back in the 70's, Aykroyd & Belushi barely had either. But they did have alot of real talent. And so deserve to stand proud in front of one the greatest compilation of blues musicians ever assembled !
