    @ HWFG1:
absolutely true, in that recording session Charlie was replaced by another drummer, it was too late and Charlie was sleeping in Hotel. (I don't remember his name, this guy was a Stones friend and he played cow-bell in Honky Tonk Woman, too).
Nothing change in my opinion about Charlie Watts drumming, of course.
Charlie played in all Stones recording sessions, but nobody can't say the same about drummers of Beatles, Beach Boys, and many others very famous groups.

  • Charlie Watts ...

Charlie Watts timekeeping and precision are really impressive.
    Great drummer,
    never exagerated,
    always absolutely perfect,
    he's the rolling stones engine.
No other drummers can play like him.
He had could be an extraordinary session drummer in R&Roll, R&Blues, pop-rock, Hip, and other similar genres.

Y'all watch out for that Mr. Jimmy and his cherry red, now. It be dead.

First time I heard this live version. One of the few more recent versions where Mick stays somewhat true to the original. Thanks for the upload!
