This is kata. These are Shorinjiryu karate forms. They are purely karate.

What's the difference between Shorinryu and Shorinjiryu?

I never head such a thing (About the Fujian+Okinawan language) From most studies I've seen, they compare Japanese and Okinawan as being remarkably similar.

You R right. But Okinawa dialect & Chinese dialect (of Fujian Province)are very similar to each other. Before invaded by Japan, Okinawa was a kingdom so close to the Chinese Dynasty then. Just for sharing. TQ
