    Physics does not overlap with any other science nor does it need to draw on the other sciences, it stands on it's own. It is the foundations for which all other sciences are built upon. Chemistry is just physics, I was a biochem major for three years until I switched to theoretical physics and I found that most of the things we did in chem are explained fully and nicely in physics. Astronomy is based largely on observations, thus I wouldn't call it a science, Astrophysics would be the science.
