  • That's the ...

That's the understatement of the year! LOL. Tyson, at his peak, could have beaten anyone else at any time in their careers. Too bad he had to fuck it all up though.

  • that left was a 6 ...

that left was a 6 inch punch clipping berbick on the temple.Thats one of the assets he stopped using after firing rooney. After rooney, mike became a roundhouse sloppy inaccurate puncher looking for one punch. That's why douglas and holy beat him. They would never beat this tyson .

true, i would say is the fastest heavyweight in history... He has changed the whole concept of boxing with his style and entertaingment, we ought to understand that when every boxer acheives the prime, money screws up most of their mind and they collaps... But tyson was the greatest and still IS...

  • Ali wasn't the same ...

Ali wasn't the same fighter after his 3+ year exile. He declined as a fighter. He wasn't as fast...couldn't move around the ring like he used to and his stamina suffered. A young Ali would have danced all night around Frazier and Ali. The Exile made him rust.

  • Foreman had no ...

Foreman had no skill, unlike Tyson. Ali talked down upon Foreman's skill many times and sad he feared Frazier more because of the skill level. But you are correct, what seperates Ali from most of the rest, including Tyson (since even though he was bright in history and even setting up traps inside the ring), Ali didn't need a trainer to tell him commands. Ali has to still watch out for Mike's combinations and left-hook, which Ali was always vulnerable to.

  • Depends on the ...

Depends on the stipulations-if I can just slump after the first litte jab, about twenty million. If the ref is going to make me get up after that, about forty million. If I have to actually take some punches and get properly knocked out-Bill Gates' money (and hope I don't end up retarded).

  • Perhaps the one ...

Perhaps the one thing that set Ali apart from any other boxer in history was his ability to come up with a game plan for his fights. While Tyson was a stone-cold-killer, Ali was a boxing genius and, in my opinion, would have found a game plan to combat Tyson's power. He managed to beat Foreman and, if anything, Foreman was (at the time) even more terrifying than Tyson at his peak. Five knockdowns in 2 rounds against an all-time HOFer in Joe Frazier (scary). Ali would find a way against Tyson.

  • Just a quick ...

Just a quick comment about the Ali vs Tyson argument: I waited about 5 years to get a video of The Rumble In The Jungle and it was the biggest pile of shit boxing match I've ever seen. How Ali gets so much credit for lying down on the ropes for the entire match I dont know. One thing is certain, you could not get bored watching Iron Mike box. He was a proper badass, vicious and hard as fuck.
