Well, you can't like the play of Hudson here. First of all, you have to put Sammy on an A10 or AQ since he checked the flop and re-raised on the turn. You can't expect that Sammy Fahra is on Trip Aces making a 1200 dollar bet in the first hand of the WSOP given that he can't even beat a str8 to Ace with that.

yep that werent a bad beat. i call a bad beat when a loosing hand that called by a bad read catches less than 5 outs on the turn or river to win a big pot because it justs make u feel sick! :(

Point of fact: That wasn't a "bad beat." Both players did everything right. Hudson couldn't lay it down--no one could.

It was a tough loss for sure--a crazy flop, but not a bad beat.

A "bad beat" is when you got your opponent dead to three outs and he or she hits the river.
