Icelandic 4X4 trucks are awesome. Very very cool and requires plenty of skill to negotiate the truck through the soft looking for harderpack. It is always going to be exciting. Would watch this anyday over Formula One!

yeah, but how much of a grade can they climb? Also, look at the weight of the suzuki vs. the weight of a hummer. A lighter vehicle is going to be able to climb better with a higher ratio, than a heavyer one with the same ratio.

You want to know if a hummer can climb like a purpose built Formula truck? Well if you must know, no. For one youre running maybe 250 hp/300 ftibs of torque. These are more like 800-900 hp, i don't know how much torque. You have maybe 2ft of suspension travel, these double that at least. Other than that, youre gear ratio is wrong, axles can't stand up to the abuse. I could go on for days.
