North Carolina has lots of snakes. Our garden in particular tends to get visited by a few. Especially big black snakes...some up to 5 feet long. This video is of a king snake...but it's different in that I caught it on video trying to consume a lizard. I'm NOT a snake lover but I'm about 2 feet from this one catching the action. Watch it all the way through...there is a moment where the lizard twitches and the king snake constricts to kill. By the time I dragged the snake into a bucket to move it the lizard was down its throat up to the first pair of legs. Nasty.
