2008 Hayabusa vs. ZX-14R Shootout.
Two years after Kawasaki stepped into the ring to face Suzuki, the ZX-14 and GSX1300R Hayabusa remain the only machines in a universe all their own. No literbike can match the asphalt-peeling 100 ft-lbs of torque that pours forth from these 1340cc-plus hyperbikes.

The busa is more pratical: it has more storage space, better milage, easier to work on. The zx14 has the best headlights & brakes but u have to remove alot of plastics/ covers to get to the battery & electrics.

stupid kraut
I am [insert really big adjective] amazed that two people actually agree on youtube. Good for us. I forgot a part in my argument that you'll probably agree with. Here:
The economical reason doesnt stand when you reach the end of a bike's life before changing category, but for ?[some->a few->a lot->most]?
people, you get tired after a year or two of riding, but then again it's a matter of opinion & situation. In my situation, my opinion is 500+.
yea dude i tottaly agree with you now 500 + cc could be economical but its dangerous for a newbie ive been riding for 2 and a half years now but and i dont think iam good enough to ride 1000+ bike the speed and power of those are too much for me right now
By igotyou62 [Affiliate User] 1224956672 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIn conclusion, in my opinion it is necessary that you ride some time on a 600(R)-1200(Touring) before going on 1000+(R). Now, the reason why I say you should start with a bike in this category to experience a bit and S**t in your pants a few times is simply economical. It'll cost you less to start there than buying the 3 categories. But then, you have to estimate the risks for your life according to your judgment and temper. I had scooter since 14YO and bikes since 17YO(R6) & NEVER crashed
By Angelsnightmares [Affiliate User] 1224954601 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI did my courses on a Suzuki GS500 and I know they can pack a punch (we had much freedom on the road and trust me, I did all I could do). However, I didn't realize fully the strength and danger- of a bike until I jumped on a R6 and did 120-190-60km/h to clear my path and take a "switcher" (u know, between highways) and ended up 1m short of hitting the exterior. I'm glad I did this before jumping on a Hayabusa.

By Immrbracken [Affiliate User] 1223102020 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelike i said before, i didnt speak to new drivers. Comparing sport bikes, I hardly see the practicle things, i think its just a matter of which one you like. For starters, i think the 250 is too small. They should take lessons first and hop on a 500+ bike (depending on size, mass, talent of rider). less than 600 is too easy to handle; they (CAN) get cocky and go directly for SS bikes when they change and get killed. A starter bike shouldnt be enough to be dangerous but enough to get scared
By Angelsnightmares [Affiliate User] 1222992263 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyoure right its one of the worst bikes for starters but I didnt even enter the subject. Although th Busa doesnt handle as well as smaller race bikes, you cant say it handles like S**t because shitty handling means cruisers. the hayabusa handles better even than sport touring bikes. In the supersport categories, Busa handles difficultly compared to smaller bikes but you have to keep in mind that these bikes are already the best thing there is for handling. below 10kmh the Busa can be real touchy
