    I think that makes a Bach "interpretation" interpretable. The ability to add, subtract, or change notes and voices. Bach left tons of sections open for opinion. In fact, when he taught musicians, he didn't teach them crap until they proved they were able to improvise.

    I disagree. I think the voice is the best part, at least in this recording. The strings are way to heavy and syrupy, the tempo is too slow, and they used way too many players, or layered the recording too many times. Bach used very small orchestras. It should be crisp, you should be able to distinguish every instrument.
