    hool10 there is a such thing as plasma welding it is similar to tig except you use two shielding gases what we use at work is a pilot arc of argon shielding gas and a swirl shield of 98/2

    i think you got the numbers mixed up...18 for wire feed is incredibly slow...and 180 volts is incredibly high...switch the numbers and ur good..

    im somewhat skilled in MIG welding, not exactly a pro but hey i can do a welding test just fine :)

    Im not familiar with the pulsed version tou, unless im mistaken i used copper wire at 18.0 feed and 180 volts( or amps i forget )

    would be cool if you showed us the finish product tou.

    Well for pulsed MIG it's very complicated and after this video was made, I sucked trying to weld with pulsed MIG. It uses a computer to control pulses right into the molten puddle. You must follow "guidelines" in the filler metal supplier book on amperage, etc. It's mainly trial and error though to get it just right. It acts like spray arc only that you can do verticle with pulsed. Equipment can be costly, so take note.

    There is no such thing as "plasma welding" but I think you mean stick welding, aka SMAW. Fluxcore needs a wirefeeder. Stick though you can take anywhere and doesn't require a wire feeder.
