    but be careful about confuse ALL the Russian Style methods with word "Systema"
    THis is a "Systema" style named "Starov"

    yeah - i get what you mean; it is the same in most arts; i think bruce lee made a good comment on it;

    "you need emotional content, not anger!"

    in other words it is down to the indvidual and their wish to carry out the action - it doesn't neccesarily matter about the training in the gym, though it would be best if they replicated the aggression of a real-fight, which is what some more advanced systema classes and instructors do . . .

    plus some different martial arts instructors full stop : ]

    Yes, i understand that, i have practiced aikido for many years.........but even with aikido it seems now that its almost like training the attckers in the gym to fall and when in real combat the reactions of the attackers are different and un expected
