Pokemon Crystal running via Meboy on my Sony Ericsson K550i. The audio's not as loud as I had hoped but it'll do. The sound emulation is still a little early with Meboy, and so it's all sort of become piano noises--including the sound when you bump into things. I did it a few times on purpose, and then walked out of the house and did it a few times on accident. Oh well. It does slow down a little in a few spots, but for a gameboy emulator on a phone that's far from cutting edge, it's better than my expectations. Saving and loading, both regular and through savestates, work just fine, and apparently you can transfer your saved games through bluetooth to continue playing on your computer. I've not tried it though. To use Meboy, you download the program to your computer, run it, select the roms you want to load into it, and it creates the file to send to your phone. Unfortunately this means you have to remake the file in order to add new games, but if you already know the games you want, you're set!

  • I can't recall now ...

I can't recall now because I don't have my java phone right now but in version 1.6 it was in the options, and you just had to scroll down a little bit and it was right there. In 2.0 I dont see why it wouldn't be there though
