I did begin my formal training early (1973) my contortionism is hereditery..5th generation. The training I had was passed down from my great-grandmother. I would never do anything that I thought might hurt me. Thank you SO much 4 ur sweet concern. I know my limits, & wouldn't dream of crossing them..Thank you 4 appreciating my art...Peace..& Blessed Be JG =o)

I'm assuming you must have started ballet at a very young age then! Thanks for being open to try new things - but do take care - we wouldn't want you to do any damage. If the idea is dumb, don't do it! I've been a contortion fan for about as long as you've been doing ballet......!

Yes, darling...35 years of ballet..it's really helped my foundation & of course kept me limber. I still love ballet, always will, but my contortionism is genetic...I'm 5th generation...Russian too, so...I do have a bit of an advantage there...lol..still, I'm very happy to be able to bring my art to people who genuinely enjoy it the way you do...Thanks again..Peace..& Blessed Be JG =)

I'll tell my mom that the first ballet class she took me to when I was 3 finally paid off...lol..really, darling, ty so much for your support & sweet compliments. WOW! My head is ballooning up to the size of the Goodyear blimp...lol...my hips, luckily are still pretty loose. they don't require much work-up, as I'm a natural hyper-extender, but idk...I'm an old lady, so it may not be as easy for me as the young folk..lo..but I'm always happy to try new things, & learn anything from anyone I can...I'll certainly try..Peace..& Blessed Be...JG =)
