Final Fantasy VIII Opening

This was such a great game. I'm not going to compare it to any others, because they were all fun, so it really doesn't matter which is the "best." It did have the best opening scene though. Ever.

VI would be a lot better with

a) more character development
b) better graphics

I actually like 8 better than 7 Even though the fighting is more of a pain. Its just an awesome game.

This game's getting harder to find, being an old PS1 title. So the general rule is: if you find it, buy it. You can buy orange box some other time.

ohhh and it s amazing to see that the argumen between weither ff8 or 7 is the best well i aint played 7 but from what i see they are both equal ff7 is more mysterious and ff8 is more movie like and more colourful i like ff8 personally number one my all times list

the worst thiong happend to me the other day i had 30 pound on me and i seen the orange box which i wanted bad and then i seen this game i was like nooooooooooooooooooooooo so me bein an idiot i got orange box the game is ace but like i went back to the shop a few days after and it was gone :((((((((((((((

the missions are training so people can kill the sorceress. they tell you that in the game. ive checked i didnt see any flaw in the story except if you arent into the time thing. wich im not. but i do think ff8 is a better game than this one since it doesnt have 9999s flying at you from every direction. and it has the best villian imo,better than sephiroth, besides the fact he dresses like a girl but that just makes him more of a villian.

actually you really dont need a guide for this one. there are no item chests that you need to get like there are in almost every other rpg. you just need to know what monster drops what item for the final weapons and how do you get the GFs. and i know that already

if you pay attention to the story you learn about her in like the end of the 2nd disc. and you find out she was manipulating edea the whole time. edea was a good person she raised all the main characters. then she helped create the gardens because she knew she was going to be possesed by ultimecia

Just be careful and use attacks that will only target Adel (I think that's what you mean). If you do hit Rinoa, be sure to heal her immediately.

is there a secret code to skip or beat Ultimecia with rinoa in the battle? i keep killing rinoa!! lol

Ultimecia controls everything that edea does for the first 3 discs until you beat her in Galbadia. Ultimecia=edea. They didn't just throw her in there as a final boss. Maybe you should look deeper into the story.

A pile of steaming crap is better than anything with Cloud's mug on it. FFVIII is better than everything except VI.

They are also supposed to make a remake of Final Fantasy 7 for the PS3.

FF7 was a breakthrough, but FF8 had an infinitely better translation and localization, and character development.
