True, in the times of the wall street crash, i'm guessing because of edidence in the film, you just got hung, althought i can't seem to rememeber the proper term for it :(

It was done for a directing class, not by experienced directors and actors, with months of production, etc.
It's done pretty good for people who are taking a directing class.

Also, George wanted to give Lennie a quick, painless death... who knows what Curley would have done to Lennie?

worst thing I've ever seen. It doesn't make any sense if its not set by the river bank. And what's with the southern accents?? It's set in California for Chirst's sake. It was so beautifully done in the most recent version of the film with Sinese and Malcovich.

this whole movie and novel is probably the most often referred to example of foreshadowing in english literature. i think there's about three examples in the film but countless symbols and predictions

Actually George shooting Lennie is a reference to Candy's not shooting his own dog. When he says "I shoulda never let strangers shoot my dog," it's referenced in the end. George doesn't want them to kill him, he wants to do it himself.

That was good. Definitely better than how the actual movie ended.

I'm reading the book in school for my GCSE english unit.1 but i have no idea why George shoots lennie, Can anyone give me any indication as to why George kills Lennie?
