In my tutorial, I will teach you how to solve a Rubik's Cube (regular 3x3)using 7 steps, which I explain in detail. My videos are longer than others you may find, but I feel that by spending more time with you for each step, you will understand it better than if I rush through it like those other videos. I taught quite a few people this method in college, and also family members and friends who were able to solve it relatively quickly once they understood the method. Once you have memorized the algorithms and also understand the method I use, you can solve the cube in ABOUT 1-2 MINUTES WITH PRACTICE.
This is the first step of the Tutorial for solving the cube. THE SECOND STEP IS ON MY CHANNEL PLAYLIST AND ALSO IN THE VIDEO RESPONSES SECTION OF THIS VIDEO. It involves first placing four white edge pieces around the yellow center piece. You must then match each individual edge piece with its side color and flip it until it is matched with both the white and side colors.
*If you are HAVING DIFFICULTY getting the four white edge pieces around the yellow center, please SEE MY Step 1 b video, which gives further examples which should prove to be useful and give extra help. Also, please do not ever hesitate to ask me ANY questions at all about the cube or if you have any comments or problems. I am ALWAYS glad to help. If you are using this method, I can GUARANTEE that I can explain and help you with anything you need to know as long as you provide me the information about your cube. Send long questions to my inbox and I will definitely get back to you A.S.A.P. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 4X4 OR 5X5 TUTORIAL, LOOK NO FURTHER! CHECK OUT MY TUTORIALS ON MY CHANNEL PLAYLIST BY CLICKING ON MY NAME OR GOING TO WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/ROBH0629 As always, my tutorials are detailed and beginner friendly!! Thanks!
I would like to thank Lars Petrus and also Tyson Mao along with Jessica Fridrich for allowing me to visualize the cube in a totally new way. My method basically incorporates strategies and techniques in both Tyson Mao's and also Lars Petrus' methods, basically making my method unique in itself. My method has been able to help numerous people solve their cubes, along with some family members and personal friends of mine, so I know it can work for you too! Any questions, please don't hesitate to inquire or leave comments on any steps which may have given you trouble. Thanks again for watching my tutorial on How to Solve a Rubik's Cube!!

So you already finished the two bottom layers, and your top was complete, right? Make sure that all your corners are correct. Even if you have one completed side, that does not mean you're ready for step 7. Your top corners must all be in correct positions.

By prabhnoorrules [Affiliate User] 1218020001 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe trickiest part is getting the 4 white edge pieces around the yellow center piece. If you can get at least 3 that's good. The last one is the trickiest because you don't want to mess up the first 3. Can you get at least 3 white edge pieces?

By whigga89 [Affiliate User] 1216378119 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveOnce you have all 4 white edges around the yellow center, you match each of them individually with their center and then flip it 180. Once you have the white cross on the bottom, your cross will be identical to mine. You do not have to have the same pieces next to the cross or elsewhere.

By o71v3r [Affiliate User] 1214155414 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYes that's correct, it does NOT matter how you scramble it at all, otherwise there would be no point to the rubik's cube at all. There are over 43 quintillion (4.3 x 10^19) possible combinations ('situations' as you call them) of the rubik's cube. However, when you use a method and algorithms, you are able produce certain "situations". The algorithms, therefore, allow you to get from one situation to the next. So you can sort of make order out of chaos and group things together to solve it.
By RobH0629 [Affiliate User] 1214119611 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehey, i just realised that its not really the way u scramble it... you have to see the situation and do the proper method needed if u encounter a particular situation on the cube....
By Sakihash [Affiliate User] 1214108499 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSakihas, WTF? u scrambled it differently the way he scrambled it? U mean we have to scramble it the way RobH0629 does inorder to solve it?

By Arjhay924 [Affiliate User] 1213796888 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis tutorial is so much easier to follow than other ones on youtube. You teach it slowly and explain things so that even beginners like me can understand. I have looked all over and am glad that I found your videos. Thanks so much for making these tutorial videos, I will subscribe for sure! 5 stars!!!
By Xim3linda [Affiliate User] 1213570253 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveOnce you get all 4 white edge pieces up next to the yellow cross, you MUST match them up INDIVIDUALLY, one at a time. I am guessing that you probably had the blue and orange already matched, so you just flipped them and then just flipped the other two. You must make sure they are matched with their SIDE COLOR BEFORE flipping it upside down. Check out the video again and then make sure you do each step as I do.
By RobH0629 [Affiliate User] 1213464397 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYes, whatever you're most comfortable with. But you may find it a little hard to follow the rest of my tutorial if you do that. If you did want to do that, you'd have to make the red your bottom and the orange your top. Any time I talk about white, you must think of RED..and any time I talk about yellow, you must think about ORANGE.

By tacoboy114 [Affiliate User] 1213362121 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHello Rob,
thanks to your tutorial, I was able (took me 3-4 hours) to memorize all the steps before solving my first cube.... ever. Fantastic experience, everyone was into it, when I was in school and you not even born. (Some irony to it, ain't it...)
I find your way of explaining the algorithms exceptional. Really good for beginners like me.
Thank you,
Regards, André
