I couldn't agree more with the video.

I am upset with the double standard between so called "sex" games and violent games.

We have this tolerance for violence in movies because we know its all fake. Sex in movies, on the other hand, requires at least some real nudity and sexual behavior from the actors.

But video game sex is just as fake as video game violence. Just pixels and rendering. And yet we treat it as if it were real as movie sex. Why?

The best implementation of sex in a videogame I have come across is in Indigo Prophecy AKA Fahrenheit, one of those games that prove video games can be an artform.

I think it's govt's subtle way of encouraging violence in our society and making war more acceptable. Drugs and violence create a "need" for a police state. Get it?

Video games can be art, they are after all made of 3D or 2D Art and so as a all they are a Art form, games like fahrenheit and Mafia are imo works of Art better them many films.

I 27 and i remember when sex was common in video games, i played a game in my 10 that was a game were you needed to trap a spider and many other stuff by making lines on the screen just to see photos of some naked chic (porn stuff). That didn't turned me into a sex manic. I want sex in games just like the one in Mafia a scene that was very well made and didn't seamed out of place, we can also make sex scenes with being explicit, erotic movies does it why would't adult games.

Art is defined as 'the products of human creativity'. Video Games easily fall under that.

I agree with Zegim. I don't think Daniel is pleading for acceptance from "other people" (non-gamers). It just looks like he's reaching out to those who have an affinity with his sentiments. I'm one of them, and I don't think I'm the only one! What gamer doesn't want their games to "level up"? To evolve to the point of actually including core aspects of human experience, rather than cheap stereotypes and cheap thrills?

Because of games' interactive nature, intimacy in them would be an incredible step forward for the industry. Experiencing intimacy through the eyes of others, WHILE in their shoes, would be a very effective way to teach both sex education and healthy relationship dynamics, better than film or perhaps any other medium.
