Downgrading Vista to Windows XP

can i use windows xp recovery disc?

Thats TRUE!! There is not info about actually how to getting your vista to XP!! is all bull sh*t infos!!!

& can I format vista with a CD copied of XP?
& when I finished formatting it, How the F*** am I goanna make all the drivers work?

But it's not sure you can find a driver for your webcam, when you use XP? If your computer had Vista from start, it's not sure you can find drivers for that...

I somehow lost my winload.exe and my dad has the same brand computer as me and I used his recovery disks to make it xp but when it was copying the files it got 40% complete and then it turned off so I tried it again and again but it didnt work

I gotta say I found some humor here. I'm running PCLinuxOS, a great Linux distro, on three machines. There are more features than in Vista Ultimate, it runs extremely fast, has tons for free ( as in guilt-free for those prone to pirating), has no license keys and it's not prone to collecting virii or malware.

So why continue to play games with MS? Linux has finally arrived for the consumer :)

To buy only the OEM disk you need a product key. If you buy a OEM license it comes with the key. You cannot upgrade a home edition key to MCE.

You most likely have a Sata drive controller. Sometimes for XP to detect the drives during setup you need to provide a driver disk. HP should have a XP setup driver available on their site for your model.
