Is that all you people have to do is bitch about your neighbors Ham Radio tower ? Maybe he might not like some of the looks around your home. I suggest you get a life, start something good like a neighborhood crime watch. Better than that bitch at your ole man, dog,mailman or whatever but stop making enemys with your neighbor. You sure as hell wouldnt like my 100 ft self support tower... but I have 15 acres & no neighbors. I hope to go you stay put becauce I'm here & not going away either !!! Get a life old bags !!!

I'm a HAM too, and am a big advocate for antenna rights. However, there is a limit. If it were a J-pole hanging off the roof, fine. But that ones just overkill for that subdivision. He should have considered his neighbors before putting that up.

true at some point the owner of that antenna will have the only means of communication outside that sub division and then everyone will see the benefit of that.

Very nice. I used to live in a very Exclusive aria and they never compalined about my 40 meter longwire anteena. they complained that my 20 year old Nissan car was not in keeping with the aria. go figure.

Me, im not a ham operator. But im interested in the hobby. Hell, i wouldnt mind having an operator live next to me. i would love to see hows its done in real life.

These old ladies are just busy bodies who don't understand the "hobby". We hams take our "hobby" seriously and provide a service for ungrateful neighborhood residents such as those. Stories like this really piss me off. There should be a law to remove from our neighborhoods nosy old ladies with nothing better to do than complain.

Great antenna!!! It would actually look better at 99 feet! I look forward to seeing a nice 6-meter antenna to go along with this one soon!

If people as a whole wanted an unobstructed view out the window, we wouldn't live in oversized houses on small subdivision lots. Some dislike their circumstances and take it out on others whenever they can.
