I'm the cop in the video...I was just trying to protect the surfer, but it was adumb move. Plus he was a total kook. The day before he was stand-up paddle surfing and kept f'ing up his bottom turns. When I surf, I don't rip either, but at least I can
slot my board in the pocket.

I posted a video on here shot from the pier. I saw the whole thing happen in person. He DIDN'T drive his ATV into the water as many (who weren't there) are saying. You are watching an edited video, and even my video I didn't catch the beginning. He drove to the waters edge to tell them get out (as he was probably commanded by his superiors to do, and got overtook by a set of waves that came in closer than they had in the last few minutes. Yes, it is funny as hell though.

I believe that's why he's on beach patrol and not on the streets. lol

The PIG was trying to be cool and ended up looking like an ass. Dude where did you learn to ride a ATV? Now your tax payers will have to pay to fix it or, buy a new one for your dumb ass. Great video thanks

For Kugel591 and MOTS411, I dont really know if you live here in Pensacola or not and i could really care less. If you lived here you would understand why he did not get off. With all the recent crime on the beach, some punk would have probly taken it. You have to understand doing things on the beach is way diff then inland. His intent was in the right place and im sure next time he might do it diff. But im not going to judge him. The guy is trying to protect others, what have you ever done
