lol, people, when I finished laughing at the sistatime comments (the woman has wit) and I could concentrate on the vid, this is what I thought: I like Ansuya a lot, but I like most her most purist performances. But what a beautiful woman she is nevertheless. Quite breathtaking.

I don't care what she calls it - It's still not very good dancing. Especially (and in particular), that squatty move with wide open legs. This is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. Aside from that though, she is a very pretty little girl!

I think its important to realize that Ansuya has always categorized herself as an "american cabaret" dancer, and has always admited to fusing elements of indian, tribal, ect. into her dance. She's never claimed to dance "egyptian style". As long as she is honest in her representations, whats the problem?

I don't know whats wrong with some ppl... I think that those of u who said that this video is bad and that her dance is ugly have no idea what u're talking about and probably don't know S**t about bellydancing. And probably u also have nothin better to do but say bad things and put ppl down. My opinion is that if u've never taken bellydance in your life ..YOU SHOULD SHUT UP ! This is an awesome video and u can tell she's been dancing for a long time becuz she can do really HARD moves.

Ansuya is one of the finest fusion BD artists' I have seen.Mixing traditional Indian/Hindu postures with other tribal,cabaret and Asian styles is what it's all about! Our Art form is growing and evolving, and is so much more interesting to me now, than when I started dancing back in 1972 at age 15. Keep on keepin' on!

Do you know how to bellydance? I do, I've been dancing since the age of six (ballet and now bellydance) and Ansuya is not my favorite but she's definitely one of the best dancers of the world. If you are a pro then you should be able to notice...

Ok, I'm flabbergasted at the comments! This performance is ugly and tasteless! Oh please somebody give this girl lessons on proper form and technique. Her leg movements are sloppy and nasty. Her floor work needs a clean sweep with a mop-in-glow gloss!
