People generally get frustrated with their computer if their boot time takes too long, especially anything more than 40-50 seconds. A longer boot time generally means you have too many startup applications and the hard drive needs to start them all up. Although purchasing a Solid State Drive would increase your boot time drastically, it would also cost a lot more. By using freeware applications such as startup delayer and defraggler and the basic windows configuration settings you can delay or stop certain startup applications leading to a faster boot time, and a happier computer experience.

    I just get them straight from the Windows website which you can get to just by pressing the plus button, then hitting "get gadgets from online" or something along those lines. For the three I have in this video just search for a binary clock, twitter, and the black system monitor, i can't remember the exact names since I don't have them anymore
