How can ITF be semi contact? You can't do spining back kick and do semi contact, once a kick like that starts it be hard to slow it down to make it sime contact, Ake kick you would not do it sime if you would miss, Most action in notes in ITF is pull back contact witch is diff to sime contact. I learn ITF and in sparing class we're tought to time our kick get close and get in hard jump on person shouder# and puch him on the face full force pull back.

Without the protection that knockout could've seriously hurt the Greek guy.
