no its not the same its just a really bad dubbing.. and that destroys the movie.

eh Hello smart people.. if its dubbed in english or its english subtitles its the bloody same thing because its still a translation isnt it? I havent seen it in italian, and i watched it like this and i still really really enjoyed it.

Because italians are supposed to speak italian not english. Indeed the original version of this movie is in italian.

this is so bad, this film is a masterpiece and anyone one who watches it should watch it with subtitles instead of dubbed! you lose so much of Roberto in this!

OH MY GOD! It was from very long time that I didn't watch "La vita è bella", or "Life is beautiful", in english. I think with this movie Benigni mades feel proud (mmmh it is right?Er..i don't think it, sorry i'm italian and my english is very bad.) a lot of italians...and this is beautiful. I never heard the movie with english dubbed voices...and, yes, the accent is very strange and funny XD. However...roberto ti adoro!(=i adore you!)e noi italiani ti adoriamo!Perciò...GRAZIE!
