Most aircraft use about two-thirds of the runway to take off. This is an Ilyushin IL76 freight aircraft taking off fully laden for an 11 hour flight, warm day, no wind....... oh and look, no runway left either!

    Well i Wouldnt be so fussed about ATC guys making a joke about crashing, everyone needs a sense of humour. anyway these russians pilots look dareing but i can be pretty certain they would have calculated the Takeoff distance extremely accurately. they might be some of the wildest pilots in the world but easily some of the best. its what you get when you put vodka in your fuel tanks
