Okay, I'm not a freakin' fanboy. Jesus, people. The Packers were clearly better. Favre's probably going to be the only three-time MVP in NFL history, maybe even four depending on what he does this season. The game was competitive until the third quarter when Reggie did what he did best. And Bledsoe does not S**k , he was a gunslinger and had no supporting cast so he tried to do too much on offense. And Ray Perkins called way too many passes.

If Favre's the INT king then Bledsoe's the INT prince. He usually threw more interceptions then touchdowns. Howard was a beast, he could do what Devon Hester does now but at age 30. Howard went to his only Pro Bowl in 2001 and he was 30. As I said his return was the play of the game, the competitiveness was gone.

In the Packers defense, they picked off Bledsoe 4 times too. Favre's the Int King but he threw none on that day. green bay's defense wasn't going to lose that game that day, regardless of howard's heroics.

Bledsoe got sacked 5 times.

In the Patriots defense, they were able to respond every time. That kick return by Desmond Howard was definitely the play of game. But Super Bowl XXXI was kind of quirky in that a Kick Returner won MVP. And Favre completed only half his passes and was sacked more times than Bledsoe (five to four). And whatever the Patriots had done to contain Reggie White for three quarters they didn't do in the forth and Bledsoe was sacked on consecutive plays by White who went Manimal on the Patriots O-Line.
