  • That doesn't matter ...

That doesn't matter. The person would still be dead. Bullets and shrapnel doesn't have to pass through armor to kill. And I have a feeling that had that dummy had arms and legs it would lost them.

It's to show that the shrapnel of a frag grenade wouldn't pass the armour, lrn2think.

  • I fail to see the ...

I fail to see the point of the grenade demo. Even if the vest survived the force of the blast would cause massive internal injuries and kill pretty damn quick.

  • the idea is not to ...

the idea is not to shoot body armor 100x with crappy round tipped 9mm bullets and say the armor is great... the idea is to test it against armor piercing rifle rounds not F**king pistol rounds and shitty rifle rounds

  • dragon skin S**ks ...

dragon skin S**ks horible against modified ak47s but dragon skin lv 5 will just have internal injuries because they can make a ak47 shoot 3 times faster with .25 caliber bullets and sniper with .35 and it also can be a close combat at .35 at 1.5 increasd speed but each of these udprages are 2500$ for upgrade plus 250$ for ak47 in iran

  • Temperature? ...

Temperature? Nonsense. The discs are made of silicon carbide (which is insoluble and has a melting-point of 2730 celsuis (about 4900 fahrenheit)) and the same S**t as the current body armour used by the US military - Interceptor. At the end of the day, it's a matter of finances. Do you actually think your government has the money to update to the Dragonskin? Sheesh, when you have 300 million people and are already spending over half a trillion a year on military, who cares if some die?

  • Ya know I never ...

Ya know I never thought I'd see any Muj mother fuckers rocking anything that big either until I looked through my binos one day and sure enough saw a Bongo truck that'd been converted into a technical with a .51 Cal Dishka in the back. They were using as a mobile AA weapon against UH-60's & CH-47's I was a rendered just a tad nervous on my next Air Assault mission, not only did we have to worry about RPG's and old Stingers they had but also .51 Cal machine guns.

  • and it's against ...

and it's against the geneva convention to fire a .50 caliber weapon at a human. sure, you can shoot the the gas tank of the car he's in and blow him to hell, but you can't shoot him.
