    Paul Gilbert is not very well known for his sweep-picking. In fact the only song he has done in recent years with sweep-picking is his song The Gargoyle.

    Regardless, there is no sweep picking featured in this video, and not everything that involves arpeggios is sweep picking. He uses a combination of individually plucking each string (unlike the technique used in sweep picking, in which the "sweeping" technique is used) and pull-offs.

    Hope this enlightened a few of you.
