Where exactly did you see it swimming at any point in time after it was thrown back in? It just sorta sank like any other dead fish would.

By cbaiocco [Affiliate User] 1213533806 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou are such an ignorant fool. People don't catch monster fish in order to eat them, it's all about the joy of catching one. That fish was released alive, next time watch the whole video jackass.

By punkrockazza [Affiliate User] 1211464767 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAlright last chance to point out the obvious... fish + water = live fish... fish - water = dead fish. If you morons, & I'm not speaking specifically to you Fentanyl3, can't understand that logic, then I'm wasting my words. But the fish aside, which honestly I don't care if it lives or dies, just that it went to waste. Videos & comments like these are what puts all of us hunters & anglers in a bad light. If you wonder why so many anti-hunting/fishing laws come up it's because of S**t like this.
By job1181 [Affiliate User] 1211404099 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm sure you have already gotten plenty of replies, but the fish is fine. I have caught catfish in the morning, threw them in the bottom of the boat and cleaned them that evening and they were still fighting and flopping at 9:00 o-clock that evening. I have run into mechanical difficulties that prevented me from checking my lines for over a week only to discover several catfish still on them, and still alive. They are a very hardy species worry not.

By devilrider72 [Affiliate User] 1210969358 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemovePutting your spelling and grammar prowess to the side lol, your statement was not only wrong, but worse uninformed. If you had any knowledge of this subject you would know that the Catfish would easily survive this period of time out of the water, furthermore comparing leisure fishing to a bloodsport like deer hunting shows you have no understanding of the topic in question.....
I suggest you do some research on Catfish and spend less time correcting the grammatically challenged!
nice the biggest catfish i ever coaught was a 50 ib and it was a channle they put up a pretty good fight
By andync92 [Affiliate User] 1210884761 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeinsane fish.
By BigCarpFoxRiver [Affiliate User] 1210669190 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI can't stand stupid people who make grammatical errors in general, but it really takes that special dumbass to make grammatical errors while trying to insult another person. Because if you're going to try to make yourself look better than someone else, then you damn well better know how to atleast spell. As for you... notice "you" is spelled Y O U, not just "u"... and for the love of god learn how to use punctuation. Now see that would be annoying lol.
By job1181 [Affiliate User] 1210641078 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei cant stand ppl like u
correcting misspelt words lol
its so dumb
I'm sure you mean "stupid", but far be it from me to correct your grammatical errors while trying to insult my comment. kudos dumbass.

By Thegamer000 [Affiliate User] 1209929453 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWels cat, well capable of surviving a while out of water
By scarrenboy [Affiliate User] 1209285429 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat catfish could survive a long time out of water, and it obviously swam away when he put it back in. They don't die until their gills dry out and that catfish looked fine when he put it back. You underestimate their ability to survive.
By ianyancey [Affiliate User] 1208769121 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhat the hell is the point of going to all that work too reel in a huge cat like that, which obviously the fish is so tired from the fight and is kept out of the water so long that it has no chance of living, and then letting it go to waste? It damn near is illogical as the idea of shoot and release deer hunting. Put a bullet in bambi's heart, take a few pics, and then walk away. If you're going to kill an animal then have the respect to eat the damn thing.
By job1181 [Affiliate User] 1208678731 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThere are a lot of companies specializing on catfishing on the River Ebro for tourists and all of them have a policy of releasing the fish. I don't know why is it.
