You can file both ways as long as you use a 240 grit! I know this as i have my masters in nail tech! x

You're only suppose to file your nails in one direction or else you will just make your nail more prone to weakness...I know cuz I'm in a Manicure class for my Esthetics program

dumb....it's actually really easy but this ladie makes it looks so freaking complicated...daim...just remove your nailpolish...shape them and then you use those stickers in order to get the lines straight when you apply the white nail polish...then use the shiny one and after that a soft color; you're done! apply the white one carefully and to it one stroke at a time...real easy ^^
