After 30 years at the top of the pile, he has started turning his hand to directing, and the multi-Oscar nominated Michael Clayton (2007) was the result. He has had a hand in the writing of all four Bourne movies, and has had to sit by and watch Doug Limon and Paul Greengrass direct this prestigious spy thriller franchise - but now, it's his turn, and he's continuing the uncompromising approach to the genre. Popcorn Taxi's Oscar Hillerstrom spoke with Tony about writing on Michael Bay's Armageddon under extreme pressure, and how he sees himself today after a career that's has also included Dolores Claiborne, The Devil's Advocate, Proof of Life, and State of Play. If you're interested in becoming a professional screenwriter, and wondering what you might end up like if you 'make it' in Hollywood, then this is an interview you'll really want to see. It also includes some really cool behind the scenes footage from The Bourne Legacy. The Bourne Legacy is out now in cinemas.
