yah and from your power position you need to lift off of your back foot that is how the pros really get the distance on their throws its all about leverage and posting up on your front foot

not to be mean or cocky, just constructive criticism, but instead of lifting weights during all of the offseason, i noticed that you always are falling out of the circle. you may want to work on that.

  • Cheers mate. Those ...

Cheers mate. Those throws are getting old now when i was throwing the 2.25disc back in mid 07.. I actually had a little break in training due being on Aus gladiators and a few lil injuries from the show during early 08. But Now back into full training. My block is very strong now, and ive had one of the countries top coaches fix up my technique problems. Now doing a big off season training block again and focusing on unleashing bombs in 09. Will have new throwing vids in a few months.
    Cheers
    Nik

  • Awesome video. Hats ...

Awesome video. Hats off to you for what you're doing. Ever think about focusing to hit a harder block at the end? You look very fluid all the way through your throw, and maybe this is the video quality talking, but it looks like you could get some more separation in the middle and use a stronger block to pick up some distance. Good luck to you.
