From History Channel presents Decisive Battles, featuring Rome Total War recreations of ancient battles. 48 BC Battle of Pharsalus with the "Populares" army of Gaius Julius Caesar versus the "Optimates" army of Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus.

This battle followed an almost insignificant defeat suffered by Caesar at the Battle of Dyrrachium.
