titanium has many big advantages over steel for a sub, except the cost.

maybe your point was that the US can compensate with stealth and detection so they dont feel a need to pay the titanium price, but why not make a sub as good as it possibly can be, it will just be useful longer.

with such a huge military budget, i just really wonder why the US hasnt used titanium. maybe the cost of it is insane for them, but not for russians. thats what i want to know.

who gives a F**k if US subs are stealthy and russian subs are not, its not a reason for the former not to dive way deeper when they could.

deeper = harder to detect because of thermal layers, not to mention titanium isnt as magnetic as steel which adds to the stealth. sub would be faster too.

by the way, the US had to design a new torpedo when the alfa class came out, cuz the ones they had couldnt catch it.

russian subs can go fast n deeper..BUT THEY MAKE ALOT O NOISE MATE..also the yanks av torpedos that can catch those subs n can go deeper enough to kill those deep diving russian subs..so no need to dive deep to kill those ruskie subs enit..just send a advance torpedo instead eh..anyways..yanks av the luxury o stealth n queitness in their subs that ruskies cannot even match..also russia cant afford to built 1 titanium sub..theyre broke..fucken tiny britain av a large military budget than russia..

Actual Russian has more than just AKs they have T-90s and Tu-160MNs, and finally Mig-35s, and Su-27 etc... they have the largest nuclear supply in the world so i wouldn't go to war wit them just yet, and in my own words Canadian Forces are some of the best trained in the world(my idea because i'm going into them)
