The man does not have to be Jewish to be critical of Iran's president, and he did have ample time to answer. As for Holocaust research, is has frequently been used as a platform for anti-semitism even in the USA, it's often a euphemism for historical revionism. This is like people saying we ought to research the Palestinian's plight because 5 million is too high a number of refugess, do you see why they would be offended by such a thing?

Yes and the media in the West is just full of praise for Iran. Everything that this man is saying is VERY logical. It's amazing that people don't know when they are being fed a word salad. Yes the president was rude, but he made clear points- Ahmedinejad can only respond with religious and humanitarian generalisations. As for his rhetoric, have you seen the Iranian media? Ahmadinejad never said the holocaust is not real,AHMADINEJAD said that the holocaust is an excuse used by israel to kill civilians,and for the other nasty things their doing in the middle east.He also said that the holocaust may not have so many casualties amoung the jews ~5 milion~. and for godness sake,not only jews were victims of the holocaust, there were also gypsies why haven't they got their own state in the middle east.The Holocaust could not be an excuse for occupying palestine.

Better a hypocrite rather than an outright liar. The part that interests me most is whether or not Ahmadinejad believes the ridiculous claims he is making. No homosexuals in Iran, Holocaust wasn't real (which I take offense to since my grandfather helped liberate one of the death camps), etc. I can admit that Americans tend to be hypocritical. Can Ahmadinejad show a little honesty?

you are correct in that it is a double standard, but with so much fear around the subject it is rationalized through his supposed backing of militias and groups in nearby countries.
Perhaps if he did have such weapons talks between their country and others would become more serious.

She was brutally and repeatedly raped, tortured, flogged, and then murdered.
