You are absolutely right.
It is Sri. Potti sriramulu who got us the Andhra state for the Telugu speaking and we should be ever so grateful for his sacrifice.
I would be glad if we call our state as Potti Sriramulu state (like Prakasam dt)
But the fact is that we were still known as Madarasees until NTR 's Paripalana.
It is NTR who propagated our language and Sanskruti to the rest of the country and to the world.

It's hard to say, I personally don't think any of them are going anywhere...PC's will always be around.

Whether it takes physical skill to be able to use a PC is not the point, it's what you have upstairs in your dome.

The diehards will always stick with vynll, but if any of the three devices are to go, I say it'll be the vynll.

CDJ's are too cool to go out of style, eventually people will start buying them over vynll's.

In todays world where everyone has access to tons of music and you never know what your audience may want, you are almost forced to use a PC to have a library that can satisfy your audience. A DJ's job is to read the crowd and satisfy the majority as you can never please everyone all of the time.

My opinion is that Vinyl wil stay forever. It's the art of DJ-ing that counts and not the technoligy.
I have a friend that actually uses digital input through a laptop for DJ-ing, but I can do totally the same thing with vinyl and cd players with effect. By using a laptop it's only reducing your weight to carry.
It only takes away the feeling you actually are a DJ !!! ;)

Yet to me it does not bring the same feelings/atmosphere. DJ=DiscJockey thus there is gotta be a disk. (not harddisk). What if: Bluescreen? U're done 4 good. Ur name and rep is gone..... think about it... I guess turntables will stay, pc will fade out.

I started with a PC. Hated the quality. Then got cdjs. I love 'em. I think its the same idea like writing music. With todays computers and programs anyone can write a track, however only 5-8% will be exciting enough. Same idea. Let's face it: a monkey can mix with a pc, been there, done that. Which is good, coz u'll have a lot of time to interact with the crowd+fiddle with effects.

You really need a good amount of practice and skill to mix with 1200s. PCs, not as much. I think there's room (and a need) in the future for both.

THE PACEMAKER. CDJ'S .AND PC's = the future of djing. Ive seen a lot of people knock the pacemaker on youtube, and a lot of those people havent even had the pleasure of even holding one yet. I opened this months MIXMAG only to find RICHIE HAWTIN (one of my fav dj's) ranting about how the future of clubing, is going to change due to the PACEMAKER. compact and fast pace, these are the exact things that I think are shaping up djing.

Vinyl sounds the best. CD's, no one buys so they'll be gone. PC, forget about it, thats just embarrassing. I think it will be Records and downloads onto MP3's.

I think the PC DJ's will go off the market really fast. It's not the same at all as the other two...
CDJ and Vinyl will stay, but I think more and more will turn to CDJ, as the units evolves...

Vinyl isnt going anywhere. Its been here since the beginning and it will be here years to come. But if were talking about the future we should make holograms. You dont really have to touch anything just move your hands as you would with physical instruments. Now that would really throw us into the year 3000.

Laptops are for Live Production only! Or for
DJs who do weddings. Or checking email. Serato, Traktor, etc. are novelties.

The next step will be mixers with TONS of effects/features. Pioneer has got some great stuff integrating its mixer line with its CDJS, no one else comes close, but there's still room to push the envelope.

CDJs are good for adding more things to your palette, more effects, cueing, sampling, etc.
They're good when you have a crap load of promos or demos, or just want to have a ton of tracks with you. The "CD" may change, Numark
has a ton of stuff like the HDX where you could just swap a hard drive and there's your whole collection. Or plug USB drives into a mixer and away you go (Numark's iCDX has some of that, in a CD player). I don't mean to plug Numark but the X2 is a nice idea of both worlds.
