Pit Bulls

I am an APBT owner. I have been since the 1970's. I only own one at a time so I can give it my full attention, support and training effort. None of my pits have ever attacked. I've seen a lot of them fighting when I was younger and it is a tribute to ignorance and stupidity to think the way you do. You obviously only know what you see in papers and on the tube. The people who make these dogs mean are the CAUSE of the problem you describe. Let me reiterate. HUMANS! I am constantly fighting BSL lunacy and I never thought I would ever become an activist. Educate! Don't legislate.

Breed-specific legislation is the cruelest thing ever. Why kill ALL pitbulls because of a few bad ones? Maybe to prevent future incidents, all pitbulls should be required to be given a temperament test, or must obtain a permit to own one, but kill ALL of them? That's disgusting, especially to take the dog away from loving owners; their personal property.

i work at a dog rescue that speacalizes in pits & they are the sweetest. we also get german shepard dogs & rotties, they are also some of the sweetest dogs.

I miss my pitbull and my german shepard. those were the two most loyal and trustworthy pals i had. An animal only behaves how thier master has taught them. It's not they're fault they were raised to be aggressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't know what it is you're talking about. My dad has bred these dogs for years, and they've never tried to rip his face off. It's because of morons like you that ignorance starts. Pitbulls are some of the most loyal dogs you'll find.

that was cute! i liked the sayings on them. its so true. it only depends on how you raise your pits we raised ours to be sweet and guess what? they turned out sweet! NEVER EVER EVER EVER growled or tried to bite anybody .. ever

i agree lets just keep breeding these dogs and wait until they attack and rip someones face off then we can ' punish the deed not the breed' wot a load of S**t all these dogs should be muzzled as least,and kept on a lead. What about my human rights to not be intimidated by a big dog on the loose with no muzzle and totally free to attack at will.
