I used to noodle a bit when I was a kid. Fun stuff. Then I got a boat and rods and reels! It ain't for sissies and metrosexuals.

Noodling is great till you reach into a snapping turtle's den or you grab a cotton mouth. Those hillbillies are a tough lot.

That's a common saying, but I've never actually heard or read a first-hand (or second-hand, for that matter) account of someone's death during noodling. Considering how few people do it, the total numbers of injured and killed must be quite low.

the guy at 1:59 looks constipated especially in reverse. I swear I am going to invent this but just for ice fishing and I will call it Shrincage hands.
