How To Make A Potato Cannon (Combustion) Advanced Ep 1 of 2

Finally! Here is a tutorial video on how to make a combustion potato cannon..

TheBuG or MushiYoshi. The video shows how i made my standard size potato cannon step by step. Made in Norway

Speed and distance : of the potato is 600km/h and it shoots ca 200m.

Spark igniter : search ebay for "electronic spark igniter" sold by sterling products.

Fan : the chamber fan can be used for 2 things. the most importiant is ventilating your combustion chamber after each shot so you get fresh air into the chamber before stuffing a potato down the barrel.
Next is to mix the gas inside the chamber once you have sprayed your combustion gas inside the chamber (i never do this but its always a option)

2 Ventilation holes : the reason i made 2 holes is because if the mixture of the gas does not ignite or something is wrong i can ventilate the chamber with something stuffed down the barrel. kinda hard to put new air into a chamber that is sealed in one end :)

3 x Spark patent :

The metal\plastic things i attach to the wires is called cable shoes or cable rings, i`ve seen it been used on car electrics.
