Oh yeah, you're definitely wrong. I have the most open mind possible. That's why I constantly think through every possible side of the story, and that's why I love to hear what people have to say. When they say nothing and just repeat a part of the video, I get nothing from them. What would I say back to that, "Oh, yeah, I liked that part too..." Then what? Nobody has anything else to say and it's not like there's some great bond between two people because they liked the same part of a vid

But the point im making is that people use it for short-hand. It implies that this is the part of the video they enjoyed. How can you not understand this? There is a lot you can infer from other people if you just take the time to do so. Open your mind a little and try to understand another perspective. You seem like you might have a little problem with this. I might be wrong.
Of course not everyone comments, I'm only talking about the people who DO comment yet say nothing. Even if they wanted to tell me they like a certain part of the video, add something to that. Say, "I liked the part about.... because..." That would tell me something about them. I could pretty much predict what anybody would like about a video, but I can't predict why if it related to their life in some way that was unique to them. "Divultion?" Is that a word? I didn't find a definition...

You express yourself through thought, interpretation, and divultion. Even if that means repeating the notion of what you liked? How would you expect someone to tell you what they liked and didnt like? Using your logic, theyd have to refrain because it was unoriginal.
People comment when they want to. Not everyone comments on videos they watch. That's why. Accept it.
Yes, commercials use that to force you to hear things you don't want to hear again. That's why they're annoying, same as repetitious comments on youtube. Expression? That requires some original output. You don't express yourself through unoriginal ideas. I'm not saying sit down and write for half an hour before posting a comment on youtube. Just refrain from posting a useless comment if you have nothing original to say. It IS entertainment, so why do feel we HAVE to comment on everything?
