You should do some study on all those issues you brought up. You will be surprised how truly ignorant you are when you do decide to do some serious studying instead of just being told what to believe.

Life is short. Your spirit is immortal. Live a good life. Love and care for others. That is what life is for, and that is how we evolve, SPIRITUALLY. There may be a God(many cultures belive in a GODDESS), but the Bible is not considered any more compelling evidnece than the Talmud, or the Q'uran. Supernatural agencies are not considered in scientific-method.

Sure, there were astronomical significances for all of these metaphors, the same metaphors in nearly all world religions. My point is science is progressive.

Sorry, religion isn't based on guesswork, it's a collection of metaphors for astronomical observances that were perverted to dominate the gullible.

Science changes because all things change that are alive. The only thing that doesn't change...is something that is already dead.

Why would anyone want to attack scientiest? That's precisely what i'm wondering. Religion is based on faith and us Christians are perfectly fine with it. Do you see us bashing on science and screaming wrong wrong wrong? We ignore it and we really don't mind. By definition, scientific theory is the best proof and evidence until a better theory comes along. We don't ask others to BELIEVE we ask them to LEARN. No anthropologist EVER suggested that "men evolved from apes" - We evolved WITH THEM - the fossil record gives evidence of Neanderthals, etc., & our DNA is IDENTICAL to hominids dating back almost a million years.

If there is a heaven, you're surely not going - but there isn't if your honest with yourself - we all go exactly where we were a hundred years ago - into the nothingness that we were. Life is real, precious and short - and you choose to ignore that in place of a fairy tale called "god" born of ancient books and superstitions written at a time when few people understood science.
