Trained German Shepperd Attack Dogs

.....just to clarify. I mean they are not police dogs in the street work sense of it. They are clearly trained for a law enforcement purpose.

They aren't police dogs, don't need the clean out or "demo" style patrol. That is one hell of decoy/ helper, not every one can catch dogs like that.

these are a smaller breed of of germa shepherd they look like they way no more then 25 kg my gsd cross dobbie was more then 30 kg at 8 months :S

I agree with you. These dogs don't release their victims on command. At 00.44 you can see, that these dogs attack even their boss. I think they had been cruelly trained.

I think so too. After the jumping over the car and the fight with the man behind it the dog can't find an end of his attack and is biting the policeman too. I know that from my husband - his dog did it once like that.

This is a great training video. Even if they are French! Those are the weirdest colored GSD's I've ever seen. It almost reminds me of another breed. Oh yeah. Malinois. That's it. Of course, I can see the confusion. It's like calling a Dobie a Pitbull. Meh...to those that are ignorant, all dogs look the same.

All I have to say is this - those helpers are brave souls!

Assman897 is my hero. He manages to call other people idiots while making himself look like an even bigger one. Almost as cool as watching these Malinois doing their job exactly the way they were trained to. Nice to see dogs not afraid to bite and handlers not afraid to bite back :)when the dog makes a mistake in his excitement for his work.

First, these dogs are Belgian Malinois.
Second, if they were "german shepperds," they would be German Shepherd dogs.
Third, the dogs in this video were trained to do exactly what is shown...take down the bad guy no matter what the obstacle or the pain and sometimes in that frenzy the handler gets bitten.
Fourth, if you want to see truly PROTECTION trained German Shepherds, who will bite and release on command, watch some Schutzhund video.
