    Maybe there's a connection here, the dress was an allegory. The film was about people from two different classes trying to bridge that gap between their two worlds. Rich-poor . She made her dress out of a pink hand me down dress. She wore it and we all remember the ending and how he felt for her. He only cared about her substance and not where she came from. The dress was pink and that didn't matter to him, she would always be beautiful to him. As for the song, I like both. The Duckman rulez!
