Dear Bobbi, I would first like to say that I am of Haitian decent and I commend you on exposing the beautiful side of my country. The media seems to spin in into an unstable hell hole. Thank you for showing the world different. One thing that kind of nicked me though is that all the pictures of people were either white or mullato haitians. Some people might take that as you sayin that only the white population in Haiti is clean and civilized, which of course isnt true. Great video, nonetheless!

Sorry u failed to understand the point i was making.
the tourism sector plays a major part in a country's economy. It brings the most revenue in the US as of currently. Jamaica is not the greatest example for it is a poor country, but at least Jamaicans eat. Back in the 40's and 50's, Port-au-Prince and Havana were the top destinations in the Caribbean. Poverty and corruption were still issues and problems back then, but at least people ate. so we do need whatever we can get from "foreigners".

Great to you took your friend down to see Haiti. Haiti does have alot od problems...class, economic, enviroments and so on..Unless we start looking forward to change the country all we will have left is memories and youtube videos to watch. Those that have more in Haiti need to take a more proactive role in changiing the country Port-au-Prince is surrounded by bidonvilles with millions of inhabitants....the day the masses get really pissed off everyone will be F#&ked. I don't want to be there.
