The MP5 was first introduced by Heckler & Koch in 1966, under the name HK54. This name comes from HK's old numbering system: the "5" designates the model as a submachine gun, while the "4" identifies it as being chambered for 9 × 19 mm ammunition. The current name dates from when it was officially adopted by the West German government for use by its police and border guard as the Maschinenpistole 5 ("Machine pistol 5", or MP5), in mid-1966. The GSG 9 (the counter-terrorist unit of the German Federal Police) then introduced the MP5 to other Western counter-terrorist units.

    only a flaslight -.- ? laser and other sights .. what else you want on a mp5 ? grenade launcher ?? its a Sub-machine gun. its made for close range combat?!?! take the sas .. where your torch shines thats where you shoot. mount it with small scope or red dot sight .. thats all you may want to put on a mp5.

      That is not a scope, it is an EoTech holographic sight. It does not magnify at all it only gives you a window display with a holographic dot which you put on target. It is a quicker way to sight in on a target in long range and close quarter combat. I too like iron sights but these EoTechs work very well.

    For the guys who say he S**ks at shooting, I think he was just demonstrating how it fires. A real good way to shoot something like that is in tapped bursts while in full auto, although I prefer semi-auto myself.

    There's no way anybody would put a fake scope on a rifle they spent thousands of dollars on to purchase. Unless this is a dealer demo, or he's government, this mP5 set him back thousands, plus tax stamps for the SBR and Machine gun NFA registration.
