Here is a part of RainbowMan's definitely more hardcore stage and behavior when compared to TankMan. I wanted to prove that RainbowMan could be a pretty interesting design even if many people think the opposite. Enjoy the madness! ^_^
It took less time to make this one because a lot of the assets needed were already made. Only had to compose 1 song. Still, designing the stage and drawing all of this took a while... ^_^ MegaMan is pretty much animated frame by frame for almost the entire video.
Note that GlueMan is already defeated. It's just to show how his weapon is used in the "game" and how it's RainbowMan's weakness. Kinda like QuickMan's weakness which is also used in his stage. So no, there is no GlueMan video. ( :
Enjoy! I think it's pretty kick ass! ( :

About the soundtrack, my friend Yan helped me by composing 2 songs. My favorite of his is the Stage Select theme. Keep in mind it's VERY difficult to come up with great 8-bit original melodies. All my respect goes to the awesome artists at CAPCOM who make the MM music. So, in order of appearance, here is who made the songs you hear in the video:
Title Screen - MegaMan 10: MegaPhilX
Stage Select Screen: Yan Thouin
Stage Start: MegaPhilX
RainbowMan Stage: MegaPhilX (I think it's awesome!)
Robot Master Battle: MegaPhilX
Stage Clear: MegaPhilX + Original MM2
Weapon Get Screen: Yan Thouin
All music was made with Famitracker except Stage Select and Weapon Get which were made with Reason. (The drum tracks was made separately in Famitracker for those.)
Sorry about those whose posted early comments. I had to re-upload the video because Youtube for some reason lowers the quality of the beginning of the video. I've re-posted your comments.
Check out my deviantart to see my stuff if you are interested. I've posted screenshots and sprites over there.

By foxxthefox [Affiliate User] 1234243316 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI came up with little melodies in my head and used a personal recorder to record and avoid forgetting them. Then I listened to them and converted everything into musical notes using my keyboard and used Famitracker to arrange everything. It's pretty hard to come up with a great melody. Thanks a lot ^_^
By MegaPhilX [Affiliate User] 1234189481 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe music S**ks , the blandness of tilesets(exception for cossack stages) gay robot masters(Drill man and toad man are awesome though) a fucked up rush jet, lack of polish, and slower-paced than the others. the game is also really easy
By EagleSammich [Affiliate User] 1234160259 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewhat made Mega Man 4 S**k ? I can see for megaman 6 but for mm4?
By coldIced [Affiliate User] 1234120220 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removereally nice, even though I though at first Rainbow Man was not a good idea.
By coldIced [Affiliate User] 1234119217 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIf this was a real game, playing this stage would be hard because you have to be quick almost everywhere and you have NO time to stop (like 1:33).
Plus, saying the music is great is an understatement!
It's... it's.... I... don't know what to say.
Also:
"I wanted to prove that RainbowMan could be a pretty interesting design even if many people think the opposite." -Video Description. Yes, you certainly have!
Overall, I loved the vid and just wished this was an actual game.
This is fantastic! The only complaint I have is the rainbow after effect from Rainbow Man's attack. I don't think the NES could handle it.
But still, amazing work! I'd love for you to make a Nail Man animation.
