o yeah and this telecaster has a s-1 switch in the volume potmeter and a 4 way toggle switch to get more tone possibilities

I have to agree. My tele was my first electric, then I longed for a strat. They each have their fine points. For me, the tele is for the dirty work! The strat is mainly when I want to do some clean fingerpicking things.

The Tele has been the classic workhorse guitar for decades and the Baja edition brings this great instrument into the affordable range for just about everyone. Thanks for the posting, Tjoppy.

I admit that a strat is a great and maybe the greatest guitar (I got two of them :) ) but the telecaster had a distinghuished sound that a strat just doesn't have. also the strat derived from the telecaster.
