Another spoof from the mind of Mel Brooks. This time he's out to poke fun at the Dracula myth. Basically, he took "Bram Stoker's Dracula," gave it a new cast and a new script and made a big joke out of it. The usual, rich English are attacked by Dracula (Leslie Nielsen) and Dr. Van Helsing (Mel Brooks) is brought in to save the day.
OMG this film is so funny!!
By staderskan [Affiliate User] 1220770662lol i like leslie nielson he is old and still makes great movies:D
By JessicaLiefde [Affiliate User] 1220093115i love peter mcnickel in this movie.......
By jonedgaradvincula [Affiliate User] 1218188633Haha I know. That would so amazing, we'd be the next parody gods of theatrical movies! The real funny thing is that my brother is going to college as a cinematography major (directing, producing movies) We should get him on it! He's good on writing scripts!
By foreverme93 [Affiliate User] 1217137054lol :) Yeah the most hilarious thing about this whole conversation thingy is that we don't even know each others' names :D hehee.. But yeah we should send in a script!! We'll make ourselves a Woody Allen/Billy Cristal Vampire parody special!!! How frikin awesome whould that be? 0.o
By DanaVMBVSDDM [Affiliate User] 1217125435its like the movie scary movie lol
By James200809 [Affiliate User] 1217107133haha the most hilarious thing about it is that I can actually visualize that! We should write up a script and send it in haha and I don't even know you lol
By foreverme93 [Affiliate User] 1217099333Hahaa...
"*neurotic voice* I don't know what do anymore, I can only sleep during day, all this blood is making my sinuses ooze, I just... All of those vampire brides only like Dracula, and I can't even drown my sorrows in a nice scotch..."
The Woody Allen vampire :)
Poor Heath. God rest his soul. Oh my gosh, if Ben Stiller or Woody Allen was a vampire, I would probably laugh my butt off haha How about a Vampire Dodgeball? haha
By foreverme93 [Affiliate User] 1217071672Hahaha yeah... :) Yeah Christian Bale would rule... Someone should contact him 0.o Waaaaah Heath Ledger.. T_T Sad... :( But I guess the funniest would be to imagine Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler as vampires... or WOODY ALLEN... Now THERE'S a vampire parody!
By DanaVMBVSDDM [Affiliate User] 1217062827Haha, I know. Wow,we emailed a lot. LOL I feel bad myxmovie for reading all these lol. If anyone else wants to join in our conversation, that'd be cool HAHA But to get back to what we were saying. It is pure genius! You know, there are two people that I think could make really cool vampires, Christian Bale (batman) because he naturally has long insisors and if he smiles big, he looks like a vampire, and I think that Heath Ledger would've done a good job as one, if he was still around. T_T
By foreverme93 [Affiliate User] 1217060587I totally agree with you! And yes Antonio was.... um, *drool* sexiness! Even Tom Cruise totally surprised me.. :) They hired total hunks AND good actors to play in the movie! Pure, genius, right?
By DanaVMBVSDDM [Affiliate User] 1217041984My friend has it and she's like totally in love w/ it. That's what I like about "older" movies, to say, is that they didn't have the special effects like they do today, so you can kinda tell if they're fake. I hope to watch Interview soon. You can't imagine Antonio Banderas as a vampire. He'd be like "grrr" sexiness! haha totally random
By foreverme93 [Affiliate User] 1217005867You just HAVE to watch Interview... it is on eof the best movies. And it isn't really SCARY, per say.. It's eerie.. But it is REALLY good.
By DanaVMBVSDDM [Affiliate User] 1216969792Haha I used to wear turtlenecks when I would have to go pick out a costume for Halloween. Now I just stroll in. In Van Helsing, the grafics were kinda "eh" so I could tell a lot of it was fake. I haven't had a chance to watch Interview with the Vampire, but heard it was really good. I am now over Underworld and Queen of the Damned. I can actually go to sleep while Underworld is playing lol but when I was little, I could never watch like the Dracula movies.
