you are clueless, you will clearly spend over $150,000 on a shop built 1,000hp viper too. you can have a 1,000+hp supra with all supporting mods on the car and still spend less than a srt10 viper, you can call titan motorsports yourself(407-277-8423), and yes, they are street driven cars too. its amazing that a 2jzgte engine has remained virtually unchanged for 14yrs can make over 1000hp on less than 4L of displacement, viper needs 8L and 4 extra cyl.not too hard to make 1000hp with a v10.

Why the F**k would I want to spend 60k on a Toyota engine?. you say 50k in mods but really you have concider the rest of the car itself and not just the engine alone. by the time you invest money throughout the vehicle on other nessary stuff like brakes, suspension work, chassis you'll easly cross well over 150k easly, a 50k 2JZ will need other top of the line parts to you know. you can't just drop in a powerfull engine and go without concidering the rest of the vehicle.

Yeah theres a few 8 second supras but they are mostly straight racing applications except for Marcos car which is the fastest street legal Supra in the world and that can't touch Chads or Garths 7Second Vipers.

you clearly know nothing about supras other than what you read on viper forums. there are a lot of 1000+hp supras that are also daily driven with all the luxury extras like a/c, heater, full audio systems and also run on pump gas. dont think that a viper is the only car that can run on pump gas. toyotas v10 isnt on showrooms but one thing toyota never does is lie about their numbers. toyotas v10 will have 5L. of displacement, 500+hp, 0-60 in 4 sec., top speed over 200mph, stock. look it up.

Sure there's plenty of nasty supras out there but the bottom line is I could make a Viper more streetable than any 1000hp Supra. Heffner has built many 1000hp Vipers that are daily drivers I may add also most are running pump gas and street tires. Go drive a TT Viper then come talk.
